Masaki w/new Jackson guitarArizona thrashers HEMOPTYSIS’ Guitarist/Front Man, Masaki Murashita is set to appear live on 99.9 KISW’s Metal Shop in Seattle, WA on Saturday, May 11th at 11:30PM PST. Masaki will be on the air live discussing the band’s as-yet untitled upcoming album, what 2013 and 2014 has in store for HEMOPTYSIS and much more.

The interview will also be streaming live at www.kisw.com.

The band will be entering studio this summer to record five song EP with Producer Ryan Greene at Validus Recording Studios in North Hollywood, CA.

    Though we didn’t reach our goal, it will definitely help us to record our new songs and we are grateful to have amazing fans from around the world!

      HEMOPTYSIS is set to appear on KGRG 89.9 FM’s Late Night Death radio
      show on Tuesday, February 5th at 10PM PST. Masaki will be on the air
      live discussing the band’s as-yet untitled upcoming album, what 2013 has
      in store for HEMOPTYSIS and much more. KGRG 89.9 FM broadcasts out of
      Green River Community College in the Seattle, WA metropolitan area. The

      Hemoptysis is currently running a fundraising campaign to help fund the
      band’s follow-up to 2011′s widely-praised Misanthropic Slaughter.

      The band has penned five new songs for the release and plans to

      Shepard EP. Funds are being sought to help cover recording, production,
      layout and pressing costs, with perks such as drum heads, cymbals

        Arizona thrashers HEMOPTYSIS have launched an IndieGoGo.com campaign to help fund the band’s follow-up to 2011′s widely-praised Misanthropic Slaughter.

        The band has penned five new songs for the release and plans to re-record two tracks which originally appeared on the 2008 Who Needs A Shepard EP. Funds are being sought to help cover recording, production, layout and pressing costs, with perks such as drum heads, cymbals HEMOPTYSIS merch, private shows, jam sessions and more being offered to contributors.

        Aside from the international critical acclaim received for Misanthropic Slaughter, HEMOPTYSIS has won two Phoenix Music Awards for “Metal Artist of the Year” (2009 and 2010) and were the winners of the 2012 Independent Music Award for “Best Metal Song” for the track “M.O.D.” The video for “M.O.D” can be seen at this location.

                Hemoptysis are proud to announce that the song “M.O.D.” from their debut full length album  “Misanthropic Slaughter”, has won the award for best Metal / Hardcore song at the 11th annual Independent Music Awards. This years winners were selected by a panel of Industry professionals including “Ozzy” Osbourne, and Kieth Richards, among others.

                Hemoptysis is also still in the running to receive The Independent Music Awards’ Vox Pop honors, the fan-determined portion of The IMAs.

                  Arizona thrashers HEMOPTYSIS have been nominated for this year’s Independent Music Awards. This marks the band’s second consecutive year being nominated and this year HEMOPTYSIS holds the honor of receiving two nominations in two categories. The band’s critically acclaimed album, Misanthropic Slaughter is up for Best Metal/Hardcore Album and the track “M.O.D.” (the video for which can be seen at this location) is up for Best Metal/Hardcore Song. This year’s panel of judges includes Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Waits, members of GWAR, Keith Richards and many more.
